Truck Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Duties Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Follow planned routes diligently while adapting to traffic or weather conditions to meet delivery schedules Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure compliance with safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission vehicles preferred Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations Familiarity with operating various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload freight manually or with equipment like forklifts when needed Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement Experience driving tractor-trailers or similar large vehicles in diverse conditions Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy Nice-to-have skills include experience with refrigerated trailers, tanker operations, manual transmissions, forklift operation, and specialized trucks like dump or roll-off trucks. Candidates with previous delivery driver experience who are comfortable handling freight of varying types will thrive in this role.

Pay:

$1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
