OTR Box Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties Operate box trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, ensuring their needs are met. Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including organizing inventory and maintaining cleanliness. Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS or maps as needed, while being adaptable to changes in delivery schedules. Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the moving or warehouse industry. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to operate pallet jacks and other loading equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and documentation. Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
