In this role, you'll operate a range of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and more. Your expertise in driving and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Transport various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and heavy equipment like dump trucks or roll-off containers. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, load manifests, inspection reports, and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries smoothly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks. Familiarity with different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or manual methods when required. Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols.
