Store Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The ReStore store is a retail business that sells donated building materials, furniture, and appliances at discounted prices to generate revenue to support HFHPBC in its mission to build homes, communities and hope.

POSITION TITLE

Truck Driver (box trucks up to 26') Delray Beach ReStore location

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for monitoring truck performance, executing store donation pick-ups and deliveries. The driver will be responsible for timely pick up of large home furnishings from local residences.

REPORTS TO

: Dispatch Supervisor & Store Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service Delivery, processing and movement of all goods Assist donation drop off at back door Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment Assist staff as needed with store operations Assist staff as needed on sales floor Perform other duties as directed on as-needed basis including working on the truck for pick-ups and deliveries. Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service Movement and supervised pricing of all goods

Essential Job Functions:

Effective communication and listening skills both verbal and non-verbal.

Computer skills:

Microsoft Office Suite and other assorted cloud based programs Ability to sit stationary or walk and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull and subject to environmental conditions, noise and hazards. Worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Typical retail store settings combined with outside environmental conditions; subject to noise, vibration, hazards and activities occurring inside and outside and often extreme temperatures. Limited travel may be required, fast paced environment with medium-high stress based on multiple projects, deadlines, timelines and the need to react quickly and respond quickly.
