Responsibilities:

Haul 30 CY dumpster to and from job sites. Need to be efficient at backing up and need to maneuver in crowded spaces. Awareness to surroundings. Dump Truck operation may also be included with job duties.

Along with the possibility to work on a crew as needed. Be comfortable using iPad for navigation, and need to be flexible with scheduling Safely operate, maneuver, and navigate commercial vehicle on paved highways and dirt haul roads. Ensures that all traffic laws, safety, compliance and DOT requirements are always followed. Conduct daily pre and post- trip inspections. Notify manager if maintenance needs to be completed and equipment serviced. Perform minor maintenance on tractor and trailer rigs. This includes pressure washing and greasing rigs, changing tires and oil and completing and sending maintenance logs. Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive instructions. Navigate iPad to use dispatching software (training on job) Responsible for monitoring weights of waste to ensure compliance Perform safety inspections as required by DOT, and maintaining a DOT driver log Completing work tickets and maintaining daily inventory of tools and equipment Maintaining exceptional level of customer service

Qualifications:

Class

A / B CDL

required Capable of working in southern temperatures and climates Able to work and walk on uneven terrain Must be able to pass background and drug screen Acceptable driving record and PSP record Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary. Able to perform physical tasks for the entire assigned work shift Ability to lift 50-100lbs Knowledgeable and compliant with all DOT regulations
