Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a variety of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to deliver goods efficiently and safely. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a range of heavy-duty trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers for local or regional deliveries Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or specialized equipment while adhering to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery manifests, and vehicle maintenance records Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary to load or unload materials efficiently Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation routes Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers Mechanical knowledge of truck systems for basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes Familiarity with different types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, flatbed, and tractor-trailer Strong commitment to safety standards and DOT regulations for transportation operations Join us if you're ready to drive your career forward!
