In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently recovering vehicles while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all safety protocols. Your mechanical aptitude, driving skills, and conflict management abilities will be essential in navigating challenging situations with professionalism and confidence. Requirements Previous tow truck driving experience required Good driving record (MVR will be reviewed) Must be at least 23 years of age (per commercial insurance requirements) Ability to work independently without direct supervision Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop for reporting Strong attention to detail and ability to follow remote instructions Ability to act discreetly and professionally at all times Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as tow trucks or flatbeds is highly preferred Ability to follow detailed procedures while maintaining safety standards at all times Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and tow truck models, to recover vehicles from various locations Load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other mechanical tools Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical inspections to assess vehicle condition prior to recovery Manage conflict situations with professionalism, ensuring safety for all parties involved during repossession activities Maintain accurate documentation of recovered vehicles, including logs, reports, and inventory records Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate vehicle recovery schedules and updates Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or flatbed vehicles in a commercial driving environment Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including automotive diagnostics and repair basics Hands-on mechanic experience is highly desirable for troubleshooting vehicle issues on-site Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle tense situations calmly and professionally Experience using forklifts or similar equipment for loading/unloading vehicles is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and the public during recovery operations Join us to make an impact by ensuring efficient vehicle recovery while demonstrating your mechanical expertise and driving prowess.
