Transportation Driver (On Call) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transportation Driver to join our team at Golden Glades Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Miami, Florida. As a Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from various destinations, including medical appointments, social events, and other activities. This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our residents and facility.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a vehicle to transport residents to and from various destinations Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, routes, and passenger information Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with residents, families, and staff Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely and effective transportation of residents Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Provide assistance to residents with mobility or other special needs

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a good driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam and criminal background check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Possess a valid
