(Department of Transportation) regulations Construction Materials handling Roofing Full Job Description Safely operate a single-axle high-lift dump truck to transport materials and debris to and from job sites daily. Operate an F-550 with gooseneck dump trailer for material deliveries and equipment transport. Pick up and deliver roofing materials, including plywood, underlayment, tile, metal, fasteners, and other construction supplies. Assist with loading and unloading materials at suppliers, warehouse locations, and job sites. Maintain clean and organized job sites, yard areas, and work vehicles as needed. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Secure loads properly and comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Coordinate deliveries with project managers, supervisors, and field crews to ensure efficient job site operations. Assist with general labor and material handling when deliveries are complete. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B License (preferred). Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Experience operating dump trucks and hauling gooseneck trailers. Ability to safely load, unload, and transport construction materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment. Roofing or construction industry experience is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
