Job Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish), highly motivated and experienced Interstate & Local Truck Driver with a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle to transport metals to various destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Follow all applicable traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Maneuver trucks into loading and/or unloading positions. Adhere to all safety regulations and standards, including Hours of Service regulations. Handle local and interstate routes as required.

Requirements:

Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with interstate and local routes. Clean driving record with no major violations. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Ability to operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner. Fluent in English and Spanish Excellent time management and organizational skills. Physical fitness and ability to load and unload heavy cargo. Good communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent.
