Full-Time Position Summary Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group (CCD) is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Bus Stop Maintenance / Trash Collector to support public transit stop maintenance services in partnership with Palm Tran throughout Palm Beach County, Florida. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of designated bus stop locations by collecting trash and debris and ensuring each stop remains safe and presentable for transit riders. This role requires operating a company vehicle and traveling throughout assigned service routes across the county to service multiple bus stop locations each shift. Essential Job Duties The Bus Stop Maintenance / Trash Collector will operate a company vehicle to travel throughout Palm Beach County servicing assigned transit stops. Responsibilities include collecting trash and debris from bus stops, replacing trash liners as needed, and ensuring bus stop areas remain clean and orderly. Additional responsibilities include identifying and reporting damaged or unsafe conditions at bus stops, communicating maintenance concerns to dispatch or supervisors, and ensuring assigned routes are completed according to the established service schedule. Employees must follow all company safety policies, maintain professionalism while operating company vehicles, and comply with all traffic laws while performing duties. Employees are expected to work independently while completing assigned service routes and maintain a high level of reliability and accountability. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with company driving standards. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and driving record review as required for positions supporting public transit operations. Prior professional or work-related driving experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable driving throughout Palm Beach County and operating a company vehicle during overnight hours. Applicants must also demonstrate reliability, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and handling trash bags, walking between bus stop locations, bending, and performing routine cleanup duties. Work is performed outdoors and may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
