Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across long distances with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, , and , ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in route driving and load & unload procedures will keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers a chance to showcase your driving skills, work independently, and be part of a dedicated logistics team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with automatic transmission across extensive routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport a variety of freight types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, , and other specialized cargo. Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing delivery schedules and communicating any delays or issues proactively. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations. Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed. Experience Proven truck driving experience with a focus on long-haul routes; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued. Skilled in operating trucks with automatic transmissions and familiar with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving. Experience handling different freight types including freight requiring specialized equipment like tanker or refrigerated trailer setups. Strong route planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions on the road. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type .
