We are seeking a reliable and safety-driven CDL Class A Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who takes pride in safe driving practices, equipment care, and supporting field operations when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate dump trucks, lowboys, & trailers to transport materials, equipment, & supplies Perform local and occasional long-distance hauling in a safe and efficient manner Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles (interior and exterior) Assist field crews with general labor tasks during downtime Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport of materials and equipment Navigate efficiently using maps, GPS, and job site directions Adapt to varying job site conditions and outdoor work in different weather environments
Job Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record Minimum 2+ years of driving experience (construction industry experience preferred) Strong knowledge of local South Florida routes and job site navigation Ability to safely operate construction-related vehicles and equipment Commitment to safe driving behavior and job site safety practices Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug testing Physically capable of working outdoors and assisting with manual labor as needed Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
