- Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials within mine site while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of various equipment operations and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as rock, sand, and shell to various loctions within mine site. Conduct inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with MSHA regulations. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate material drop locations. Load and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and bulldozers. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and work completed during each shift. Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment. Communicate efficiently with fellow employees and managers. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly dump trucks. Experience in a Mine is prefered. Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Commitment to safety practices and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to drive off road for long periods of time.
