This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks and Forklifts. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely delivery, proper load handling, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Safely operate different types of trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for each trip Follow planned routes diligently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure compliance with safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or vehicle issues Work to dispatch customers Follow warehouse instructions and responsibilities. Requirements Valid driver's license Experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight transportation Familiarity with operating various truck types such as flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or manual methods when needed Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling Experience with load securing techniques Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Ability to lift 50lbs This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to showcase their driving skills while contributing to a reliable logistics operation.
