This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Whether operating a refrigerated trailer, flatbed, tanker, or dump truck, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will keep our supply chain moving smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks, cargo vans, hotshot trucks, and semi-trailers across designated routes within Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety protocols Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel usage Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking manual transmission systems, refrigeration units (if applicable), and trailer conditions Secure freight properly on flatbeds or tanker trailers as required, following all safety standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transit Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles within a commercial setting Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation within Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely Experience with specialized trailers such as refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is highly desirable Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo when necessary Knowledge of load securing techniques for freight on roll-off trucks or flatbeds Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations This position is perfect for motivated drivers eager to showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment.
