You will play a vital role in our supply chain by ensuring that food products reach our clients across the region in pristine condition while maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Responsibilities Operate 53' refrigerated trailers to transport food inventory across Florida, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the journey. Execute efficient delivery routes, managing time effectively to meet customer expectations and service level agreements. Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee equipment safety and road readiness. Manage the unloading process at various customer sites, utilizing proper handling techniques to maintain product quality. Maintain precise electronic logs and delivery documentation to ensure full compliance with DOT regulations. Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and warehouse personnel to optimize route performance and communication. Deliver exceptional service to clients, acting as a professional representative of our distribution network. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Proven track record of maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage physical unloading tasks and operate heavy vehicle equipment safely. Strong reliability and the ability to work independently while adhering to strict delivery schedules. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating 53-foot trailers in a regional distribution capacity. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication with a diverse client base. Familiarity with refrigerated transport systems and temperature-controlled logistics.
