In this role, you will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and more. Your expertise will ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. This position offers an engaging work environment where your driving skills and attention to safety make a real impact every day. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks such as manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks on designated local routes Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Deliver freight accurately to multiple destinations within the local area while adhering to scheduled routes Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Follow all safety protocols, including proper securing of cargo and adherence to traffic laws Skills Proven experience in truck driving, especially with delivery routes involving freight handling and route driving Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when required Excellent route planning skills for timely deliveries within local areas Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections regularly Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers Join us to drive your career forward in a fast-paced environment that values your skills!
