Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics operations, supporting the seamless movement of goods across diverse routes. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols Drive assigned routes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods across multiple locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to prevent accidents or violations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the road Qualifications Proven experience as a professional truck driver with a focus on freight delivery and route driving Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating flatbed trailer or None CDL is ok Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required; must be comfortable operating different truck types Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when necessary Familiarity with load securement techniques for various trailer types including flatbeds and roll-off trucks Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and warehouse teams Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence!
