In this energetic role, you'll be the backbone of our nationwide refrigerated freight operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of temperature-sensitive goods across multiple routes. Your expertise in driving tractor-trailers, especially with refrigerated trailers, will keep our supply chain moving smoothly. We're looking for motivated drivers who thrive on independence, enjoy route driving, and take pride in delivering freight efficiently and securely. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations Drive refrigerated trailers across long-distance routes, managing route schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines Load and unload freight using forklift or other equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive cargo Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and operational readiness Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with DOT requirements Load, secure, and unload various types of freight including flatbed, tanker, or roll-off trucks as needed Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently & Autoshift Knowledge of DOT regulations related to hours of service, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance 2 YEARS
