The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of commercial vehicles, including flatbeds with a moffett and dump trucks. The Commercial Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles such as flatbeds with moffett and dump trucks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries made, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transport operations. Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving is essential. Familiarity with manual and automatic transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with moffett is a requirement. Previous delivery driver experience is highly valued. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving is beneficial. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
