Key Responsibilities Operate front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste according to scheduled routes. Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with loading and unloading waste containers as needed. Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents or delays. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and customer service. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher with appropriate endorsements with at least 3 year's experience. Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Environment This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires physical stamina.
