Full Job Description General Description:

Bulk Drivers for Guardian Transit will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of Guardian's power units and pneumatic trailers during loading, delivery, unloading, and tank washing (either on company grounds or at an outside wash facility).

Requirements:

Must be at least 25 years of age Class

A CDL - 2

years of driving experience within the last 5 years 1 year dry bulk pneumatic experience required, plastic specific experience preferred Must fulfill all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Requirements including valid medical certificate and no disqualifying offenses Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and data entry No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years No alcohol or drug related violations in past 5 years No reckless driving convictions in past 5 years •After employment drivers must adhere to the above standards or driving privileges can be suspended. Accidents are subject to the Accident point system. Guardian reserves the right to go beyond these standards. •No tanker or hazmat endorsements required

Responsibilities:

Loading plastic resin from railcar, warehouse, silo, or other source Delivering/unloading plastic resin to silo, warehouse, or other destination Using company provided equipment to wash tank, as needed, or taking tank to 3rdparty wash facility Assist in pre-loading and staging tanks for delivery Shuttling tanks between wash and company grounds, or other locations, as needed Timely completion and sending of paperwork to dispatch and/or management Timely communication regarding any equipment, or other, operational problems encountered with dispatch and/or management

Work with all stakeholders of Guardian Transit in a professional and respectful manner, including but not limited to, fellow employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and personnel at shippers/receivers Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities, and to make quick and effective decisions Must be able to manage time effectively Notify management immediately if anyone is operating with disregard for safety Keep confidential information that could compromise Pax's competitive advantage, including but not limited to rate information, financial information, and operating procedures Possesses strong organizational and communication skills Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on paperwork Computer skills including but not limited to emailing, scanning and basic data entry Physical Demands /

Work Environment:

Lifting and carrying hoses up to 75 lbs in weight Climbing - in and out of tractor, on top of trailer and railcar if circumstances require (as a rule this will be avoided) Pushing and Pulling, Bending and Crouching Walking and standing Sitting for up to 11 hours in a day Manual dexterity Specific vision abilities required by this job: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
