Purpose/Scope:
Responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe working environment and comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coastal Processing requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers expectation Moves trailers between the drop yard and live receiving area Ensures trailers are processed in designated order Performs Pre-trip Safety Inspections of truck each day Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns Ensures poultry is maintained and in compliance with all USDA, Animal Welfare, and company regulations Keeps a clean and organized work area Fuels Spotter trucks and fuels trailers as needed Wash trailer and cages when needed Communicates load information with appropriate personnel. Other duties as directed
