Driver Class B/Warehouse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver (Class B) to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities Operate various types of vehicles, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, tankers, and flatbeds. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload products from delivery vehicles using forklifts and manual handling techniques. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before each trip. Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels and assist with stock organization. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating effectively with clients. Skills Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning. Ability to operate refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, tankers, and flatbed trucks safely. Competence in using forklifts for loading and unloading tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

Physical Demands:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds.

Experience:

2 or more year(s) of experience as a truck driver. Class B CDL License. Additionally, applicants are required to: Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must pass DOT physical, criminal background check and drug screen. Have a clean appearance. Be familiar with local and surrounding areas. Have the ability to read maps and follow directions. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. until route is completed.
