Container Work Requirements:

CDL Required TWIC Card Required Port Experience Preferred Reliable & Ready to Work Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport goods and materials. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during transit to ensure safe deliveries. Plan optimal routes for efficiency and timely delivery, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge of trucks and lifting equipment. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for compliance purposes. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Ability to load & unload cargo accurately while adhering to safety standards. Experience with heavy lifting techniques and equipment handling. Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
