Truck Shifter/Night Warehouse

The purpose and objective of this position is to move the trucks around the yard in order to be loaded in a safe and timely manner. To ensure that correct truck is loaded in the correct bay. To keep the lower dock clean daily. Assist with truck loading when needed. Assist with general warehousing as needed. - Other duties as assigned Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma/GED required Must have previous experience moving/driving large trucks (i.e. box truck) Previous forklift experience preferred (sit down/reach lift/cherry picker) Must have dependable transportation to/from work. Must be able to work overtime when needed Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly Must have basic mathematical and computer skills Must be able to communicate in a professional manner Must be able to work independently and with little supervision Must have good decision making abilities Must be able to pass background checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks)

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:

Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph) Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years Drug Free Workplace EOE Hours of work will vary due to delivery schedule. Must be able to work in all weather conditions
