We are looking for someone with a CDL Class A who can drive in a safe and timely manner. We will need someone who can do primarily local running from our Monroe, GA location, being home most every night. We do pickups and deliveries of Used Cooking Oil, animal fats, wastewater, and occasionally roll-off container hauling in the the greater metro Atlanta area, and generally within a 250 mile radius of Monroe, GA. You should have a valid CDL A driver's license, a clean driving record, clean background, AND Tanker Endorsement. Candidate must have minimum 2 years tanker experience and minimum 5 years driving Class A vehicles. Experience with vacuum trucks / vacuum tankers is preferred. Responsibilities Do pre trip and post trip inspection of truck & trailer Maintain proper logs and compliance with E-log system Follow a pickup schedule that is planned out by dispatch on weekly basis Load Trucks Off load trucks Load / Unload Roll-Off containers Skills Class A CDL or higher Proven experience as a Driver A valid driver's license A clean driving record Ability to lift some heavy loads, hooking up hoses, etc Work Monday through Friday each week A polite and professional attitude Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
