As an Over‑the‑Road (OTR) Driver with Leggett & Platt, you will play a vital role in safely transporting our products across regional and national routes while representing our company with professionalism and reliability. Your work directly supports our customers, strengthens our supply chain, and ensures on‑time delivery of the materials that keep our business moving. Alongside these benefits, you'll be backed by a dedicated dispatch and logistics team committed to helping you succeed on the road. So, what will you be doing as an Over The Road Driver? Safely operate commercial vehicles across long‑haul routes while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies Deliver and pick up freight according to dispatch schedules, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professional customer interactions Complete required documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and electronic logs Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, equipment issues, and customer needs Assist with loading, unloading, or driver‑assist activities as required and approved Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and report maintenance needs promptly Follow established procedures for breakdowns, detention, layovers, and other operational events Uphold a strong safety culture by completing required training, avoiding preventable incidents, and adhering to all safety standards To be successful in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience A valid driver's license; CDL required for applicable equipment A clean driving record that meets DOT and company standards Ability to pass all DOT requirements, including a pre‑employment drug test and medical exam Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic Things we consider a plus: Experience operating long‑haul routes or working in a similar OTR environment Strong communication skills and comfort working with dispatch systems Familiarity with electronic logging devices and mobile communication tools A history of safe driving and strong performance in previous roles Pay:
