Job Description:

Fully understand how to operate company tractor-trailers with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds in a safe and responsible manner. Operate company tractor-trailers within FMSCA and US DOT guidelines. Maintain all required records detailed and accurately with great communication skills. Load resins at rail site and unloads at plant. Ensure orders are shipped and delivered on time. Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices. Make safety a priority always. Load and unload trailers, as necessary. Ensures contents are properly secured. Use of the RF Scanner. Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) a must to maintain driving and delivery logs. Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, wash, etc.) Notify manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered. Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to pass drug test and background check. Other duties as needed.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum education required: High School Education or Equivalent Minimum experience required: 7 years' experience. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Description of working conditions/physical surroundings: Truck for short and long trips, warehouse.
