Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris across construction sites. Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes to support various construction activities. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation activities by operating bulldozers, graders, and loaders to level ground and prepare surfaces. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate material deliveries, excavation tasks, and site clean-up efforts. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and transportation activities. Proven experience operating dump trucks in a commercial or construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards is essential. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is preferred. Ability to perform basic maintenance on heavy machinery and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
