CDL Class B Driver - Construction Site Fort Dodge, IA 50501 CDL Class B Driver - Construction Site Driver will primarily be responsible for operating a shuttle bus to safely transport passengers to and from a heavy industrial construction site prior to and after shift is completed

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES

Safely transport company employees via shuttle bus to and from the construction site from the dedicated parking area nearby Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, log defects, and report any issues promptly to Project Superintendent or Project Manager Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities Interact professionally with passengers, customers and other employees at various locations Assist with other tasks on construction site as needed and requested by the Project Superintendent Assist with building and grounds maintenance as requested Adhere strictly to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations Operate vehicle in a safe manner; obeying all federal, state, and local traffic laws and posted speed limits at all times

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License or Class B Driver's License with Passenger endorsement Minimum of 5 years' experience Clean Driving Record and insurability High school diploma or GED required Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical examination

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds for long periods of time Coordinate eye-hand movements with control and precision Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Climb and maintain body balance on ladders and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction) Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time Passed DOT medical exam

WORKING CONDITIONS

May be exposed to fumes, dust or other airborne particles, and loud noises on a heavy industrial construction site May be exposed to extreme outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity

OTHER:

Some overtime, shiftwork, holidays and weekends may be required
