Opportunity Overview Position Detail Information Job Title Shag Truck Driver Location West Liberty, Iowa Shift 1st Base Hourly Wage Range $23.31 - $26.31 per hour depending on experience Shift Premium None Job Summary The Shag Truck Driver position is responsible for spotting trailers in and out of the shipping dock area for loading and unloading of product. The Shag Truck Driver is also responsible for operating equipment in a safe manner. Key Responsibilities Operate yard truck or semi-tractor trailers to spot trailers as needed into the shipping dock area. Ensure product is safely secured on trailer. Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crews and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status following applicable state and federal regulations Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Operate equipment in a safe manner. Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Certification:
Must have a Class A CDL. Must have an acceptable driving recordS as noted in a motor vehicle report.Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a related position is preferred.Skills:
Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must have good customer service skills. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to problem solve. Must be able to work with other departments and follow all food safety guidelines and HACCP requirements.Age:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.Flexibility:
Must be able to work weekends as needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Compliance:
Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
