Full-Time Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary FMI Transportation sister company of FM-EPS is looking for responsible, dependable, experienced and safe truck drivers to pull 53' dry vans in the NW Area. Drivers starting wage is as follows: $0.55 per mile for all loads greater than 450 miles from origin to destination. $0.58 per mile for all loads less than 450 miles from origin to destination. $0.12 of your regular pay is per diem . We are looking for drivers who take pride in their work and trucks. Most runs leave in the morning and return to the yard that evening. Occasional runs will require driver to sleep in tractor. 2019-2022 Peterbuilts Responsibilities and Duties Duties/Responsibilities Drivers must follow all Company, DOT, State and Federal transportation safety regulations. Ensures load is properly secured and weight is evenly distributed on trucks and trailers. Help unload

products at time of delivery (it is light weight). Communication with mechanic on faulty or defective equipment Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections of the tractor, trailer and equipment are required Performs basic preventative maintenance to ensure fluid levels and tire pressures are maintained Report all accidents, incidents, and/or injuries involving driver or company equipment immediately after incident occurs to Manager Communication with dispatcher - Call-in every morning to communicate with dispatch Promptly report any delays due to breakdown, weather or traffic conditions, or other emergencies. Also report if there is more than a one hour delay in getting unloaded or loaded, or in the event of irregularities relating to pickup or deliver of cargo. Ensures that all shipping documentation (bills of lading, weight tickets, etc.) required to move with shipment are available for inspection, that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipments when delivered, and that signed bills of lading for proof of delivery are turned into dispatch daily. Qualifications and Skills Requirements Drivers must have a minimum of 2 years recent driving experience with an active CDL "A" and Medical card Drivers must pass a pre-employment drug screening No DUI's or Felonies in the last 5 years Drivers must know and understand DOT rules and regulations Drivers must understand and follow Hours of service regulations Trucks are equipped with ELDs Benefits Benefits Drivers receive weekly pay. (direct deposit is available) 23.00 an hour for hourly pay. .55 CPM for all hauls that are MORE than 450 miles from origin to destination .58 CPM for all hauls that are LESS than 450 miles from origin to destination Drivers also receive benefits; paid medical, dental, vision, and paid holidays after 60 days!
