CDL A Truck Driver

L&R Transport in Kuna, Idaho is looking for hardworking, experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers with vac tanker experience, willing to do 2-3 interstate loads a week. Work week will be supplemented with local work, including vac tanker, flatbed, dry van, end/side dump, and dump truck. HAZXMAT credential and TWIC card are preferred. We provide full time hours and some OT hours, bi-weekly pay and great benefits.

Truck Driver Major Duties:

Operate equipment safely to and from locations Complete required paperwork for each job including pre & post trip inspections, work orders, ELD logbook & time sheets Flexibility to work outside of normal work schedule as needed to maintain customer satisfaction Perform yard duties as assigned Communication Skills Customer Service - you will work with clients & will represent The L&R Group. OUT OF STATE TRAVEL REQUIRED

- current routes required 1 to 2 nights a week, typically home on weekends. MUST BE willing to take ER calls after hours and on weekends.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG & BACKGROUND CHECKS

Truck Driver Requirements:

At least 2 years CDL Truck Driving experience Valid Class A commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (TANKER, HAZMAT) Maintain a current medical card Comply with applicable DOT rules and regulations Obtain TWIC card (if needed) Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Truck Driver Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and position equipment weighing 75 lbs Able to sit long periods while driving Able to stand long periods while cargo is being loaded and unloaded Able to climb in and out of truck
