Water Truck Driver (Manual Transmission)•
Lumber Mill Pay:
$23.92/hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•6:00
PM Position Type:
Seasonal, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time production position for dependable, hard-working employees. Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Water Truck Driver to support operations at our lumber mill. This position is responsible for operating a water truck to control dust on roads and around the mill while helping maintain a safe work environment. This role requires experience driving a manual (stick shift) commercial vehicle . Applicants without manual transmission experience will not be considered. Responsibilities Safely operate a manual transmission water truck throughout the lumber mill site. Water roadways and work areas to control dust. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Monitor water levels and refill as needed. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work closely with mill personnel to support daily operations.
Qualifications Required:
Experience driving a manual (stick shift) truck. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate equipment in an industrial environment. Dependable with excellent attendance. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work independently and follow directions. Why Join Us?
