Tow Truck Operator

Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate tools such as forklifts or manual handling techniques. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and assisting them professionally during stressful situations. Manage conflict resolution effectively when dealing with difficult or upset customers or roadside incidents. Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred. Proven ability to load & unload vehicles safely using flatbed or other towing equipment; mechanic experience is a plus. Ability to handle conflict management professionally while maintaining composure under pressure. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
