Truck Driver

Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles. Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Assist with special transportation needs such as hauling refrigerated goods or oversized loads on flatbeds or tanker trucks. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred). Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations. Familiarity with operating specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or manual methods when needed. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Excellent navigation skills with knowledge of route planning and traffic regulations. Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads and long hours on the road. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
