Box Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across assigned routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for all shipments Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Assist with securing freight on trucks to prevent shifting or damage during transit Skills Proven experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with a strong focus on safety and efficiency Familiarity with operating various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load and unload freight using manual methods or forklifts when required Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and safety protocols for commercial driving Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo and long hours on the road Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers Join us in delivering excellence!
