Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time $25 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications DOT Physical Certification Full Job Description Class A, B, or C Driver (Chicago, IL) Chicago, IL Part Time Entry Level Sound Investment, a leading Event Production and Sales & Installation company with a national footprint, is looking for a flexible, punctual and solution-oriented Driver to join a fast-paced and expanding team supporting its Chicago operations. The Driver will focus on transporting event equipment and supporting warehouse operations. Drivers will be responsible for loading/unloading equipment, delivering gear to event venues, remaining on standby during productions as needed, and assisting with inventory and equipment organization. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate 26' straight trucks, 16' straight trucks and sprinters throughout Chicago and surrounding areas. Load, unload, transport, and deliver equipment to and from event venues, warehouse locations, and rental vendors Pick up and return rental equipment as needed Workers closely and in coordination with multiple business units and teams Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle(s) during each shift and report any issues immediately to the Fleet Manager Assist with loading and unloading trucks, routine shop maintenance and other operation tasks assigned Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Able to adapt quickly in fast-paced, changing environment Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Strong attention to detail with proactive, solutions focused approach to resolving issues on the road and at delivery locations Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license Active Medical DOT card We offer an excellent benefits package including:
