D&D Best One Corporation is a growing wholesale distribution company dedicated to supplying high-quality packaging and supply products (e.g., plastic bags, wrap films) to businesses such as grocers, retailers, and distributors throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable and proactive Delivery Driver to join our team.Position Summary:
We're looking for a self-starter who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is always willing to go the extra mile. When not on delivery, you'll help out in the warehouse and take initiative in keeping things running smoothly. This position plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods—primarily palletized shipments—within a 150-mile radius. The role also includes 5-10 intrastate deliveries per month. This position requires a valid Non-CDL Class C license, a clean MVR, and at least 5 years of delivery experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and available for a weekday schedule. We are looking for dependable team players who take pride in their work. Pay ranges from $20-25 per hour. Starting rate based on experience and driving record.Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company-provided vehicles and deliver products in a timely and accurate manner. Plan routes efficiently and proactively resolve issues to stay on schedule. Load and unload trucks with care, verifying that shipments match documentation. Maintain delivery records and communicate any discrepancies or issues clearly. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any concerns. Represent the company professionally at every customer site; anticipate and meet client needs. Step in to assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are light. Identify and suggest improvements to delivery or warehouse processes where appropriate. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional truck delivery driving experience. Valid non-CDL Class C driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card). Ability to pass a road test, background check, and drug screening. Able to lift and carry heavy items as part of daily duties. Previous warehouse experience is a plus.Preferred Skills:
Spanish language proficiency. Experience with manual and electric pallet jacks. Strong navigational skills and familiarity with delivery routes in the region. Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership. Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
