In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing roadside assistance, and ensuring timely recovery operations. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and driving skills will be essential to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, customer satisfaction, and efficiency are top priorities. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport disabled or damaged vehicles efficiently and safely. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to assess damage or operational issues. Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing methods to prevent damage during transit. Provide roadside assistance such as jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and minor mechanical repairs as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate recovery operations and provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and service details for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during all operations. Qualifications Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles with a valid driver's license. Strong mechanical aptitude with automotive repair experience and familiarity with automotive diagnostics. Knowledge of manual transmissions and mechanical systems common in various vehicle types. Ability to perform load & unload procedures safely while handling different vehicle sizes and weights. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally when necessary.
