This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a range of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of construction debris, freight, or other bulk materials. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers with precision, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Load and unload freight, debris, or materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections on manual transmission trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, cargo details, and delivery records for reporting purposes. Assist with securing loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or refrigerated trailers. Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations for commercial driving. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle various truck types including tractor-trailers and roll-off trucks. Familiarity with load & unload procedures, freight handling, and securing cargo safely. Experience with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading materials at job sites. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel.
