Regional CDL A Company Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbed, and tractor-trailers to transport materials and goods. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip, including delivery receipts and inspection records. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures during transportation and delivery operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary, leveraging mechanical knowledge to identify potential problems early. Skills 2 years Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs. Skilled in driving manual transmission vehicles with a focus on safety and precision. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy-duty truck operation and transportation logistics.
