Seasonal Field Technician

Mosquito Field Technician, No Experience Required, Paid Training General Larval Division - $20/hr. Up to $1,200 Sign-on Bonus Enjoy working outdoors? If so, this is the job for you. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspection of standing water sites for mosquito development. Treatment of standing water using motorized backpack and hand equipment. Neatly record data for each standing water site visited; breeding density, treatment required, etc. Safely drive a flat-bed pickup truck on and off-road. Field work will include uneven terrain, heavy vegetation, and varying weather conditions. When necessary, must be available to work two evenings a week (Mon-Thurs) to conduct adult mosquito spraying at the rate of $24/hr.

Successful Candidate Must:

Be 18 years or older. Have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Be proficient with maps and have a good sense of direction. Be capable of lifting up to 60lbs Be able to work independently from the Supervisor. Have the ability to obtain necessary state pesticide license, training will be provided. Be available to work through August 15th or later. Applying a larval control briquet into each off-road storm-water catch basin. Neatly record data for all daily activities. Safely drive a pickup truck on and off road. Field work will include uneven terrain, heavy vegetation, and varying weather conditions.

Successful Candidate Must:

Be 18 years or older. Have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Be proficient with maps. Be able to work independently from the Supervisor. Be available to work through August 1st. Be 18 years or older. Have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Be proficient with maps and have a good sense of direction. Be able to work independently from the Supervisor. Be available to work through August 1st.
