Flatbed Driver Trainer / Yard & Office Assistant Our growing trucking company is looking for a reliable and experienced employee to join our team for a combined yard and office position. We are seeking someone with strong flatbed experience who can help with driver training, conduct road tests for new hires, and assist with daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct road tests for new drivers Train drivers on flatbed securement and safety procedures Train drivers on proper tarping, chaining, strapping, and load securement Ensure drivers understand weight distribution and cargo safety regulations Inspect trucks and trailers before and after trips Help organize yard operations and equipment Monitor trailer condition, straps, chains, binders, tarps, and other equipment

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of flatbed experience Strong knowledge of tarping, chaining, strapping, and proper load securement Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement standards Valid CDL Class A license preferred Good communication and leadership skills Ability to work both outdoors in the yard and inside the office Responsible, organized, and dependable
