Job Description
Abbey Placements is looking for a reliable CDL-B straight truck driver for a construction company in the Normal, IL area. Description of Straight Truck Driver (Class B CDL) Operate straight truck for specialized equipment transportation Drive to construction and excavation job sites throughout Central Illinois Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks Coordinate with job site supervisors and equipment operators Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials and equipment Full time position, Monday to Friday 1st shift, direct hire position Regular reviews and raises Requirements of Straight Truck Driver (Class B CDL) Must have a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and clean driving record Maximum 3 violations in past 3 years for insurance compliance Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices No automatic restrictions Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check Reliable work history with good references required Compensation of Straight Truck Driver (Class B CDL) $25
