This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers, to transport and deliver materials efficiently and safely. You will play a vital part in supporting construction, waste management, and material hauling projects, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A licensed dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles across designated routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as dump trailers, ensuring secure and proper handling of materials. Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments. Assist with loading or unloading materials at job sites or facilities as required, supporting project timelines. Skills Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as dump trucks. Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred. Familiarity with hauling equipment is a plus. Knowledge of route driving best practices combined with excellent driving skills for safe transportation across diverse terrains. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving, including load securement and vehicle inspections.
