Roll Off Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Roll Off Driver, where you will play a crucial role in transporting waste and materials efficiently and safely. You'll operate specialized roll-off trucks, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up services while adhering to all safety regulations. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will be key in maintaining our high standards of service. What you'll do Operate roll-off trucks to transport containers to and from designated locations. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe handling practices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pick-ups, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any issues that arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road. Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading materials. Assist with the maintenance of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly. Basic qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively. Preferred qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the waste management industry. Familiarity with roll off truck operations is a plus. Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
