Job Description
Position Summary The purpose of a Patient Transportation Driver is to transport patients to and from hospital, approved therapy service centers, patient care centers and private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner. Education/Experience A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent is required Previous driving experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Must display and conduct themselves in a professional manner and be able to communicate to all age specific groups. Must have good communication skills and be able to read and write reports They must also possess the ability to document occurrences in writing accurately. Annual validations in safety and infection control procedures. Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of their legal residence.
